The Gune Foundation is a non-governmental organisation committed to the process of transforming one of the poorest and most needy areas of Senegal, the Kolda Region. The Foundation started with codevelopment projects with the aim of strengthening the involvement of immigrants in all of the processes of identification, execution and evaluation of projects in their communities of origin.
With the desire to continue to support the most vulnerable populations, and with the aim of being increasingly close to beneficiaries, in 2007 the Foundation opened its headquarters in Senegal. All the technical and administrative team are locally based.
